Dr. Glenn Gregorio

Dr. Glenn B. Gregorio is the former Center Director of the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at UPLB, Central Mindanao University (CMU), and Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU). He is an Academician of the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL). He spent nearly three decades at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), where he developed over 15 rice varieties. Dr. Gregorio holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and has been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) Award and the awarded as the Outstanding Professional of the Year in Agriculture award from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in 2024. His pioneering research in crop science and commitment to agricultural innovation align with AGREA Foundation's goals of sustainable farming and food security.
