
Dr. Grace Montepierda
Dr. Grace Montepiedra received their Bachelors and Masters degrees from University of the Philippines, Diliman, and their Doctoral degree in Statistics from University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. They were Associate Professor of the Applied Statistics and Operations Research Department at the College of Business, Bowling Green State University, OH. Dr. Montepiedra recently retired as Senior Research Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, MA, with a joint appointment at the Department of Biostatistics and the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research (CBAR). Their research spans the areas of industrial statistics, operations research, biostatistics and infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and HIV. They have been involved with the International Maternal, Pediatric and Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Network (IMPAACT), and collaborated with partners from academic, clinical and research institutions worldwide, US National Institutes of Health, World Health Organization, TB Alliance, Partners in Health (PIH), Medicins San Frontiers (MSF), among others.
