December 19, 2025, is a day of profound celebration and promise. We gather with hearts full of pride to congratulate our TESDA scholars on their graduation, marking not an ending, but a powerful beginning. Our graduates represent the culmination of months of dedication, perseverance, and hope: the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) Wave 7 in Agricultural Crops Production NC II, the Coconut Farmers Scholarship Program (CFSP) Waves 22 in Plant Crops and Wave 23 in Raise Organic Hogs, and the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) Waves 24 and 25 in Plant Crops leading to Agricultural Crops Production NC II. Each of you has walked a unique path to this moment, yet you share a common triumph: the courage to invest in yourselves and the commitment to transform agriculture in Marinduque and beyond.

Today marks more than the completion of training; it is the start of a journey shaped by hard work, resilience, and unwavering hope. As our Executive Director Ms. Christine Jodloman reminded you during the ceremony, "The seeds you plant today—your knowledge, your character, and your values—will determine the harvest of tomorrow." This metaphor is not merely poetic; it is the essence of agricultural life and the foundation of sustainable success. The technical skills you have mastered in crop production, organic hog raising, and farm management are essential tools. But it is the character you have built, the values you have strengthened, and the relationships you have forged that will truly determine the impact you make in your families, your communities, and our nation's food systems.

We were deeply honored to be graced by the presence of Mr. Erwin Buñag, Acting Provincial Director of TESDA Marinduque, whose inspiring message and continued support reaffirm the agency's commitment to strengthening technical education, empowering Filipino workers, and opening pathways to sustainable employment and livelihood. His encouragement served as a powerful reminder that our graduates are not alone on this journey. Behind each certificate is a network of support—from TESDA's scholarship programs that remove financial barriers, to AGREA's trainers who share knowledge with patience and passion, to families and communities who believe in the potential of agricultural education. This ecosystem of support exists because people like Mr. Buñag and the entire TESDA Marinduque team understand that investing in skills development is investing in national progress.

The diversity of programs represented in this graduation reflects the comprehensive approach we take at AGREA Farm School. Through TWSP, we prepare scholars for immediate employment opportunities in agricultural production. Through CFSP, we support coconut farmers in diversifying their operations and adopting sustainable practices that protect both their livelihoods and the environment. Through STEP, we equip aspiring farmers with the competencies needed to achieve national certification and build viable agricultural enterprises. Each program serves a distinct purpose, yet all share a common goal: to empower individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in agriculture. Today's graduates are proof that this model works—that when access, quality training, and genuine support converge, transformation follows.

As you move forward from this ceremony, we encourage you to carry more than certificates and competencies. Carry the lessons learned from failures and successes alike. Carry the friendships formed during long days in the field and late nights studying for assessments. Carry the confidence that comes from knowing you can master complex skills and overcome challenges. Most importantly, carry the responsibility that comes with your training. You are now part of a growing movement of skilled agriculturalists who are redefining what it means to be a farmer in the Philippines. You are stewards of the land, providers for your communities, and innovators in sustainable food production. The work ahead will not always be easy, but it will always be meaningful.

To our graduates: continue to plant good seeds wherever you go. Share your knowledge with neighbors who have not had the opportunity for formal training. Mentor young people who are considering agriculture as a career path. Advocate for sustainable practices that protect our environment and ensure food security for future generations. Build enterprises that prioritize fairness, quality, and community wellbeing. Stay connected with AGREA Farm School and with each other, creating networks of support that strengthen the entire agricultural sector. Remember that your success is not measured solely by your harvest or your income, but by the positive impact you create in the lives of others.

As we celebrate this achievement, we also acknowledge the families who supported our scholars, the trainers who dedicated countless hours to teaching and mentoring, and the partners who made these programs possible through their trust and investment. Graduation is a collective victory, a testament to what happens when communities unite around a shared vision of empowerment and progress. To each graduate: congratulations on this well-deserved milestone. May the skills you have gained and the values you have strengthened guide you toward meaningful opportunities and a better future for yourselves, your families, and your communities. Mabuhay kayong lahat! The seeds you have planted are already taking root. We cannot wait to witness the harvest you will bring forth.
